As part of its efforts to drive sustainable development through the capital markets, the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) has developed a Roadmap for ASEAN Sustainable Capital Markets, which includes promoting corporate sustainability disclosures as a priority recommendation. To this end, the ACMF has been collaborating with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) to raise awareness of and build capacity on the forthcoming ISSB standards amongst the ASEAN regulator, corporate, investor community and other stakeholders.
ACMF and ISSB will be holding the ACMF-ISSB Joint Conference and Technical Training on the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards in Singapore on 27th and 28th June 2023 (hybrid).

The general agenda is as follows:
- Day 1 (27th June) will consist of plenary sessions focused on discussing key aspects of the ISSB’s final general requirements and climate disclosure standards, as well as related developments, such as in sustainability assurance. There will be panel discussions with ASEAN regulators, investors, corporate preparers, and other sustainability stakeholders to share their perspectives on sustainability disclosures and the ISSB standards.
- Day 2 (28th June) will consist of technical training sessions dedicated to regulators and corporate preparers, for a deeper dive into the technical aspects of the ISSB standards and the practical implications for regulators and corporate preparers respectively. The technical training session for regulators on 28th June will only be available in person.
